I am Joe Walton and I am the Supervisor representing District One in Powhatan County.
I created and maintain this website to keep folks informed about my positions and service. I maintain a calendar of community events and meetings where I will be effectively representing District One and Powhatan County. Additionally, you can find the Powhatan County Board of Supervisors' Commitment to Excellence in Service, adopted in January of 2009 and for which Powhatan County won a National Association of Counties 2009 Achievement Award (Best in Category).
My next District One Community Meeting will be September 23th, 2009 at 6:30 PM at a location to be decided.....stay tuned. The discussion and Q & A
will focus on the top issues facing the county and may
include other community representatives as needed.
I will continue to do my utmost to stay informed and
to help Powhatan County continue to be a great place
to live, work and visit.
